baca hand knotted strands and most other fibers are generally manually made into threads, yarns, twisted strands, twines and braids. Depending on the fibers thickness and flexibility, braids and twines come in assorted shapes and sizes. The photo on the above left shows Abaca twines of 2 different sizes and the single fiber filament at photo's rightmost side, traded as QuingThread for sewn braided hats and excellent for crocheting mats and hoods.
